Be it in the form of chutneys or important ingredients in Sambhars & Curries, seeds have always been an important part of Indian food culture. Unfortunately, the amount of junk food consumption has increased & people are forgetting about seeds. Hence, I decided to write a blog about the most nutritious seeds to eat.

You can eat flax seeds in salads, chutneys, curries, etc. Let me give you a simple recipe for flax seed chutney- roast a bowl full of flax seeds and keep it aside to cool. Why starve when you can fill your stomach with a small number of chia seeds? Chia seeds also boost metabolism, improve heart health, regulate blood circulation, etc.

Chia seed chutney recipe: Roast some urad daal, red chillies, hing, and curry leaves in a spoonful of coconut oil. Let the daal go a bit red. Turn off the gas and let it cool. Later, grind everything with raw chia seeds and a small amount of water. You can also add chia seeds in puddings, use them for salad dressing, add cakes & smoothies, and much more.

Because it is known to reduce body heat and offer relief from the extreme summer heat. These nutritional seeds are also packed with fiber and minerals, like iron, calcium, and magnesium.

Basil seed is often added to water to get relief from extreme heat. Or it can also be used in lemonades, coconut water, coconut milk, milkshakes, smoothies, etc.
